TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW was conducted for admissions to its MA programs offered by its 21 schools of learning. TISSNET exam is the first stage of the two-stage admission process. The TISS NET 2020 exam was conducted on 4th Jan 2020. The flagship course offered by TISS is the MA in HRM course. TISSNET 2020: Structure
TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW is a computer based exam divided into three sections TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW
- English Proficiency
- Maths and Logical Reasoning
- General Awareness
TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW The total number of questions were 30 each in the English Proficiency and Maths and Logical Reasoning sections and 40 in the General awareness section. The time allowed for the test was 100 minutes or 1 hour and 20 minutes. Further, there was no negative marking for the TISSNET 2020 exam. That there was no sectional time limit in TISSNET 2020 must have proved advantageous to the student because students should have been able to allocate more time to their weaker sections.

English Proficiency
TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW The English Proficiency section had questions on Reading comprehension, Grammar, Synonyms and Antonyms, Para jumbles, Fill in the blanks, Logical Reasoning, Para Summary. The section was easy. You could have easily scored 24 to 25 marks with some preparation
Maths and Logical Reasoning Section
TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW This section was easy in its level of difficulty. Most questions asked were from school 10th grade concepts. Most of the questions were direct and formula based barring questions of Reasoning. Data Interpretation questions were easy, but close calculation was required. Overall, in around 35 to 40 minutes you could have managed around 24 to 25 questions TISSNET 2020 OVERVIEW

General Awareness
General awareness section of the TISSNET is generally the make or break section for anyone aspiring to clear the TISSNET exam. TISSNET 2020 was no different. Questions were asked from practically every major and relevant subject that you can think of. The major areas covered were science, geography, Sports, economics, polity, current affairs, art and culture, etc. The general awareness section questions were not very easy nor were they very difficult. A candidate should have had an extensive reading habit to clear the general awareness section of this exam. A score of 20 to 22 was could have been obtained in the section
TISSMAT
Those candidates who wanted to joing the MA (HRM and LR) or MA ( OD and Change Leadership) had to write another exam called TISSMAT after the TISSNET . The total duration of the TISS MAT exam was 30 minutes and had 45 questions spread over three sections. The marking scheme of the TISSMAT exam was +1 for every question answered correctly and -0.25 for every question answered incorrectly. There were no sectional cutoffs for the TISSMAT exam. The comprehension section had two passages with 15 questions. Almost all the questions were direct. A good attempt in this section should have been 10 to 12.
In the Management Data Interpretation, there were three sets in all with two sets on Pie charts and one set on tables
The business economy section, as the name suggested, had questions only from the business and economy domain.
Cutoffs
TISSNET expected cut-offs for its flagship courses in HRM and LR and OD and change leadership are around 70 and 67 respectively.
